Hi, I'm Blanca Portillo. Four years ago, I started this business from a simple desire to help others find the same peace that cleaning brought me during difficult times. Today, I'm excited to share that Portillo's Cleaning has a permanent home, our very own office space.

How It All Started

Four years ago, during those uncertain COVID times, it was just me and my daughter. We'd pack a small bag with our cleaning supplies and head out together to our first clients' homes. Between houses, I'd think about all three of my kids, wondering if I was making the right choice, hoping this would work out. Then we'd come home to our cats, exhausted but grateful.

That's how Portillo's Cleaning began. Just the two of us, one small bag, and a whole lot of hope.

Today, we're still a small group, growing slowly but steadily. And now, we finally have a physical space to call our own.

About the Office

I'll be honest with you—the space at 1090 Virginia Ave St 102 is currently being renovated. Right now, it serves as our operations hub where I coordinate schedules, manage supplies, and handle the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our team running smoothly.

We're not yet set up for walk-in visits, but I hope that will change once renovations are complete. The dream is to have a welcoming space where we can meet face-to-face, discuss your cleaning needs over coffee, and build even stronger connections with the families we serve.

Looking Ahead

You know what makes me happiest about this space at 1090 Virginia Ave St 102? It's the little things. Finally having proper storage for all our supplies instead of juggling bins in our vehicles. Having a place where our team can park their cars safely. And yes, that coffee station I have always wanted—a spot where everyone can take a breath before heading out to make someone's day a little easier.

We're still a small group, but I'm hopeful. I dream about the day when we've grown so much that we don't fit in this office anymore. What a beautiful problem that would be! It would mean more families trusting us, more people on our team, more stress cleaned out of more homes.

I'm excited about what's next—finishing the renovations, creating that welcoming space I've been envisioning, and continuing to serve this community that's given us so much.
